Tottenham ruthless. Chelsea clueless.
It was a day to forget for Chelsea as Maurizio Sarri was handed his first competitive loss in English football. The Blues were outplayed in all departments by Tottenham at Wembley today.
Dele Alli gave the hosts an early lead after flicking on a beautiful freekick in the 8th minute. Chelsea
Harry Kane then made it 2-0 with just 16 minutes on the clock thanks. His shot from outside the box could have bene easily blocked by David Luiz but the Brazilian moved out of the way. Kepa was left stranded and before he could move an inch, the ball was in the back of the net.
Son made it 3-0 in the second half with a beautiful solo goal. Spurs could have had another 2-3 on the board before Olivier Giroud scored in the 85th minute.
