Tottenham star hints at PSG move
Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier has openly admitted his wish to reunite and complete his career with former club Paris Saint-Germain. The full-back claimed that not only does he adore them, but also feels he has ‘unfinished business’ at the Parc des Princes.
Aurier joined Spurs in 2017, but has failed to reinstate his imperious form at PSG in the English top-flight. More often than not, his performances have been subject to serious scrutiny owing to a lack of attention, ordinary errors and inconsistency.
Seemingly frustrated at North London, Aurier told Canal + Afrique (via Get French Football News):
“If I can see myself finish my career at PSG? That is even my plan! I would like to finish at PSG. It is before everything else the club of my heart. I have a feeling of unfinished business. It has been my club since I was a kid, I would go watch matches at the Parc des Princes.”
He further iterated:
“It was a dream for me to come to PSG and for me, that dream is not finished. If I was to finish my career at PSG, I would love that. I could have spent my entire career at PSG, that certainly wouldn’t have upset me.”
