As per reports from Football Insider, European champions Liverpool are casting a keen eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traore as Sadio Mane’s future enters a narrow corridor of uncertainty.
The winger has taken his game to the next level this season, adding the final product to a repertoire already comprising of frightening pace, agility and dribbling acumen. He has scored four and added seven more assists to his Premier League campaign this season.
Meanwhile, Reds winger Mane has been mooted with a transfer away to Real Madrid. There’s little advancement in his supposed transfer, but Liverpool know Los Blancos have the capacity to lure their talisman.
As back up, they have turned their attention to the swashbuckling Traore, who has made a total of 43 appearances this season.
According to the report, the Liverpool scouts have told club director Michael Edwards that he is well-suited to Jurgen Klopp’s setup at Anfield.
It’ll be interesting to see if Traore joins Liverpool with no guarantee of regular football, or if Mane takes the tougher route to the Spanish capital.
