Real Madrid rumours: Tottenham wantaway star Christian Eriksen has rejected another contract extension offer from the club, as he is waiting for Real Madrid to make a move for him. The former Ajax star is in the final year of his contract with Spurs which expires in the summer of 2020.
During his time his London he has become one of the best playmakers in world football. He has admitted that his future is undecided and after last season Champions League final he revealed that he was looking for a new challenge.
According to Marca, the Danish international is waiting for an offer from La Liga giants Real Madrid. Los Blancos were interested in signing him in 2018 when Tottenham quoted €120 million euros for him.
This summer the Lilly Whites themselves offered the player to the Los Blancos but they were keen on signing Paul Pogba and passed the chance to sign Eriksen this summer.
Eriksen has started in all four games for Tottenham this season and in January he will be free to agree to a pre-contract with any club. It is believed that Spurs are convinced that Eriksen will end up at the Santiago Bernabeu.
