Real Madrid are open to signing Neymar but want Kylian Mbappe involved in the deal according to ABC.es’ Tomás González-Martín. The report claims that Los Blancos are willing to sign Neymar on loan this season but only if they have a deal in place with PSG for Mbappe next summer.
González-Martín reports that Madrid ‘cannot afford’ Neymar this summer as they have already spent a lot in getting Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and others. However, if PSG are keen on not keeping the Brazilian superstar at the club and want to ‘get rid’ of him, they are ready to sign him.
PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo has already confirmed that a deal to let go of Neymar is happening. However, he has made it clear that no deal has been agreed just yet. “The conversations are more advanced than before, but there is no agreement yet. We’ll see what happens. We all need definition,” he said.
Neymar was left out of PSG’s season opener against Nimes and it was linked with his possible departure. However, Tomas Tuchel claims that it was only because the forward was still carrying an injury.
“My job is to be the manager. He’s in an individual phase of training, in and out of sessions with the group. He’s still a little injured. He took a knock [Saturday] and hasn’t completed a week of training yet,” he said.

While Real Madrid’s interest in Neymar might be legit, there is no way they could have asked PSG to agree on a deal for Mbappe if they want to get rid of the Brazilian.
