Paris Saint-Germain have ended their pursuit of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, according to ESPN. The former Real Madrid forward was strongly linked with a move to the French champions after a ‘disappointing’ season with Juventus.
However, the French side are reportedly keen on tying down Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to new deals and have dropped their interest in Madrid’s all-time top-scorer.
Thomas Tuchel’s side, who have been able to lure big names to the club in recent years, have also been linked with a move for unsettled Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly looking to leave as he was not happy playing under Maurizio Sarri. However, a change in the manager at Juventus has helped the club keep their top player as well.
PSG, on the other hand, are not looking to spend big this summer as they have the contracts of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to renew soon. Reports suggest that the Frenchman will be looking to leave the club soon and reject a new deal.
