Manchester United are on the hunt for their next permanent manager and have begun interviewing candidates.
Pochettino is reportedly among the favorites, along with Ajax manager Erik ten Hag.
Nicky was talking to FourFourTwo when he was quizzed about the next manager at Old Trafford.
He picked the former Tottenham coach and said:
“I’d go all-out to get Mauricio Pochettino as manager. He’s proven in the Premier League, he’s young and enthusiastic, his style of play would suit United and his backroom staff seem switched on. I met him a couple of times at Spurs’ training ground and had lunch. You’d want to play for him.”
Manchester United sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this season and appointed Ralf Rangnick as the interim manager.
The German was expected to turn things around at Old Trafford but is yet to impress. He was said to be in the race for the hot seat, but it is reportedly down to Pochettino and Ten Hag right now.
