Manchester United have made contact with Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar’s representatives. Though the football matches around the world have been suspended in wake of coronavirus, that has not stopped clubs from making recruitment plans.
According to ESPN the Red Devils have begun meetings agents and they have met with the agent of French international Thomas Lemar.
The former AS Monaco midfielder wants to leave the Spanish capital as Atletico’s style of play does not suit him. He is only 24 years old and he has shown how good he can during his time in Ligue 1.
Atletico Madrid paid a high price to lure him away from AS Monaco and he still has three years left on his current contract. The Los Rojiblancos are unlikely to let go of him for cheap.
The Red Devils are keen to add him to their squad for next season due to his deadly left foot and his creative abilities.
