Sources: Manchester United eye Bundesliga duo in January
Manchester United‘s season got off to a great start with a 4-0 win against Chelsea but since then, they have just not managed to get a win. The Red Devils drew at Wolverhampton and Southampton and lost to Crystal palace at home.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has already gotten rid of some deadwood at the club and is now working on getting fresh faces in the squad. United managed to sell Romelu Lukaku to Inter while also sending Alexis Sanchez on loan to them.
Adding to this, they managed to ship of Mateo Darmian to Parma while Chris Smalling joined AS Roma on loan. Solskjær already has replacements in the shape of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire in his squad right now.
However, the manager has to depend on Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood for his need for a striker. United are now looking to sing Timo Werner in the January transfer window according to our sources at the club. The German striker signed a new deal at RB Leipzig recently but is still looking to leave.
Another Bundesliga star Manchester United are looking at is Kai Havertz. The Bayer Leverkusen star is one of the most highly-rated stars right now and United have joined the race for him as per our source.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær is confident of staying at Manchester United but reports suggest he could be sacked soon if the results do not go their way soon.
