Roy Keane ‘shocked and saddened’ by Manchester United’s loss at West Ham
Man Utd news: Manchester United were stunned by West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday. The Hammers ran away as 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell.
The Red Devils were without Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial but still managed to start with a strong XI. However, the injury to Marcus Rashford early in the 2nd half made things worse for them.
Roy Keane, who was in the Sky Sports studio, revealed that he was ‘shocked and saddened’ by the loss. The United legend also claimed that the club lacks characters and quality on the pitch.

“I am shocked and saddened about how bad Manchester United were today. Everything was lacklustre. There was a lack of characters, a lack of quality, a lack of leaders, a lack of desire There’s a long way back for United. It’s scary how far they have fallen,” he said.
Manchester United next play Rochdale in the Carabao Cup before hosting Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday. Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be hoping that his top players are fit for the clash against the Gunners as they need points.
