Man Utd news: Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot believes new signing Bruno Fernandes has settled in extremely well at the club.
Fernandes joined United from Sporting in January for an initial fee believed to be €55 million and impressed on his debut in a 0-0 draw with Wolves.
Dalot, who himself joined the Red Devils in 2018, has lauded the impact Fernandes has had in his short time at the club, stating that it feels like the former Sporting star has been around for at least a couple of years.
“I mean, it is like he has been here for two years already. He is getting on very well with the lads, it is very good to have him here, it is very good for me, very good for the team, he is a fantastic player and a fantastic person. So, it is one more to help the team.”
United are currently eighth in the Premier League table and will hope Fernandes can inspire them to a top-four finish.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will travel to London to take on Chelsea in their Premier League fixture following the conclusion of the winter break.
