Liverpool offer contract to Manchester United star

Liverpool have made a stunning offer to Marouane Fellaini according to L’Equipe. The French publication claims that the Reds have readied a 3-year deal to the Belgian who is out of contract in the summer.

Jose Mourinho is keen on keeping him at Old Trafford but reports suggest that a deal between the two parties is far from happening. Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, eyes his as a replacement for Emre Can.

Just like Fellaini, Can’s contract is over in the summer. The German has repeatedly¬†said that he is open to staying at Anfield but reports suggest that he’s off to Juventus¬†after the World Cup.

Klopp hopes to lure the Manchester United with the promise of a starting role in his team. The Belgian has lost his place in the XI at Old Trafford to Scott McTominay.

It would come as a huge shock to everyone if this transfer happens. Not only will Fellaini be leaving Manchester United for Liverpool, the fact that he is a former Everton player makes it worse for him.

Galatasaray, Besiktas, Roma and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keeping tabs on the Belgian.
