Liverpool are keen to add more firepower to the frontline to support their trio Salah, Mane and Firmino. Their front three have been phenomenal in recent seasons but it has been suggested that they need to add players to provide cover for them.
Their search had led them to Valencia forward Ferran Torres, Daily Mirror reports that the Reds are monitoring the Spanish forward.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are not the only one interested in the 20-year-old as La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have also registered their interest in the youngster.
He is currently enjoying his breakthrough season with Valencia and he has made 35 appearances for them scoring six goals and further providing seven assists.
Torres is capable of playing on both wings and he has good aerial ability as well. He made his debut at the age of 17 and now he has almost made 100 appearances for Valencia.
His current contract expires in 2021 and other clubs across Europe such as Manchester City and Juventus have also been linked with him.
