DIARRA HELD TALKS WITH MANCHESTER UNITED

Lassana Diarra travelled to England last week to hold talks with Manchester United according to Le Parisien. The Red Devils are interested in signing him according to the French publication.

The 32-year-old is a free agent after he terminated his contract with Al Jazira in December. The former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder worked with Mourinho during his first tenure at Stamford Bridge.

The French midfidler had always heaped praise on Mourinho and also hinted that he would be interested in moving to Old Trafford in 2016.

Diarra said: “Mourinho? I know him well. I have enjoyed some great times with him. He is a coach I really like.”

Apart from United, Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing the experienced France international. AC Milan, Galatasaray and Fenebache have also been linked with him.

The possibility of signing an experienced free agent has turned the heads of both the teams who are looking to spend big in the transfer market.
