Everton news: According to our sources at Everton, the Toffees are keen on signing Everton Soares. The Premier League side are looking to sign him in January transfer window but will wait until the summer if Grêmio are not willing to sell.
The 23-year-old can play across the forward like but predominantly plays as a left-winger. Grêmio are reportedly looking for at least €40 million for the forward.
Apart from Everton, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are also looking to sign him. Both clubs made a move in the summer but were not successful in getting him. Arsenal were also keen on signing the Brazilian in the summer but opted to sign Nicolas Pepe instead.
Everton Soares has been in good form for Grêmio and the Brazilian is ready to take the next step. He has already admitted that his future lies away from the Brazilian side and so many European sides are interested in him.
“I was not disappointed [to stay at Gremio], actually the opposite. When I leave it will mean that it will be a good thing for me and for the club, the offer did not satisfy both parties. I don’t think he should be anxious, everything comes at the right time,” he told reporters while on international duty with Brazil.
