Chelsea willing to listen to offers for Spanish shot-stopper
Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for underfire goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as they look to get the Spaniard off their books, according to DailyMail.
Chelsea have slapped a €50 million price tag on the 25-year-old, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Athletic Bilbao in 2018. However, the Blues would consider sanctioning a season-long loan on the condition that the interested club pays a significant portion of the Spaniard’s wages.
According to DailyMail, the Blues have set their sights on Nick Pope who impressed for Burnley last season and finished as the runner-up in the race for the golden glove. The London club are also eyeing Ajax’s Andre Onana as an alternative should they fail to sign Pope from the Clarets.
The Blues are desperately on the lookout for a long-term option to replace the struggling Kepa, who has failed to live up to expectations the past couple of seasons.
