Aston Villa make stunning enquiry for Chelsea forward
Chelsea rumours: As ton Villa have made a loan enquiry for Michy Batshuayi according to Sky Sports. The Belgian forward has not started a game since Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the Carabao Cup back in October.
Aston Villa are looking for a forward as their star signing, Wesley Moraes is reportedly out for the season. The new signing suffered an injury in the Burnley game and had to be stretchered off.
Villa are reportedly looking to loan in the Belgian striker from Chelsea for the next 6 months. The newly-promoted side are ready to sign him with an obligation to buy in the summer.
Batshuayi was signed by Chelsea back in 2016 from Marseille but has not been able to seal his place in the starting XI. The striker is reportedly looking for a move away from Chelsea as he wants to play regularly ahead of EURO 2020 this summer.
Chelsea are looking to bring in Moussa Dembele from Lyon and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig this January. Tammy Abraham has been their main striker but has got no competition from Batshuayi and Giroud.
