Chelsea ready to sell star ‘for the right price’

If reports from 90min are to be regarded, Chelsea are willing to let go of their superstar midfielder N’Golo Kante if the right price is offered to them. As of now, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be interested in the Frenchman.

Kante emerged as a surprise talent in 2015 when he played a massive role in Leicester City’s title-winning season. He moved to Chelsea the very next term, and has since won the Premier League, FA Cup and the Europa League.

More so, his pyrotechnic energy and influence on the pitch has had many observers billing him as the world’s best central midfielder.

However, Kante has failed to adapt to the advanced role assigned to him by Frank Lampard. That, coupled with the rise of the likes of Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho, and his surprisingly upsetting run of injuries, have resulted in a decline of his stocks.

At 29, with three years remaining on his present deal, the World Cup winner is still an absolute workforce in the Chelsea setup. But, the blossoming of some of the club’s finest young talents and Kante’s recent injury record could tempt the Blues to offload him should a lucrative offer arrive.

Real Madrid and PSG are set to lock horns for a transfer battle.
