Chelsea news: Chelsea stunned Wolverhampton to win 5-2 at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday. Tammy Abraham scored a hat-trick and an own goal while Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Patrick Cutrone also got on the scoresheet.

The three points might have come at a cost for The Blues as Antonio Rudiger came off at half-time with a groin injury. The German made his return from an injury today and now manager, Frank Lampard has reported that he will be assessed again in the next few days.

β€œβ€˜He has a groin issue that bothered him, near me actually. Hopefully not too bad. Hopefully, it is a quick turnaround.” Lampard told the media after the game.

Chelsea do have Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma to play as centre-backs right now with Cesar Azpilicueta also to slot in if Reece James is ready to start at right-back.

Chelsea host Valencia on Tuesday in the Champions League before welcoming Liverpool to Stamford Bridge next Sunday.
