Chelsea’s Malang Sarr is set to join FC Porto on loan today. The defender was signed on a free transfer earlier this summer and the Blues have been looking to loan him out.
Loïc Tanzi reports that FC Porto have agreed a deal with Chelsea for the young centre-back. The Frenchman will move to Portugal for the season as per the report.
Di Marzio has also reported the same and confirmed that it is a done deal. The defender left Nice at the end of the last season after rejected a new deal.
Fulham were close to signing him earlier this summer but Chelsea made a late swoop. The Cottagers were interested in signing him on loan as well but Premier League rules prevented the move.
Frank Lampard has Fikayo Tomori, Andreas Christensen, Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma has his centre-back options for the season. Antonio Rudiger is also on the verge of leaving the club today with Tottenham, PSG, AS Roma and AC Milan interested.
