Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, according to Goal.com. Oblak, who is valued at 120 million Euros, has developed into one of the world’s leading goalkeepers since signing from Benfica in 2014.
The Slovenian was an integral part of the Atletico side that finished runners-up in the Champions League in 2016 and won the Europa League two years later.
Oblak is reportedly Chelsea‘s top priority to replace the out of form Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Spaniard has made a string of high-profile errors since his arrival from Athletic Bilbao in 2018 and has failed to live up to his 80 million euros price tag.
Chelsea have already landed Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva, and have been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Kai Havertz.
