Bayern Munich target Tottenham star

German champions Bayern Munich have set their sights on Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min and are prepared to wait a year to lure the South Korean from the north London club.

According to Football Insider, Son, whose contract expires in 2023, was recently offered a five-year deal worth more than £200,000-a-week by Spurs.

The Bavarians are admirers of the South Korean and will be hoping to lure him back to the Bundesliga after he made his name at Bayer Leverkusen.

Following his move from Leverkusen to Spurs for £22 million in 2015, the South Korean winger was a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side that finished runners-up in the Premier League as well as in the Champions League.

The 28-year-old played a vital role for Spurs this past campaign alongside Harry Kane and racked up 17 goals and 10 assists.

Bayern Munich will be hoping to add Son to their ranks as they look to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
