Barcelona agree deal to sign two free agents
Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessié on a free transfer.
Nitwik Sports sources at Chelsea have confirmed Christensen will not be penning a new deal and has informed the club he will be looking for a change. Gerard Romero has reported the Danish star is joining Barcelona, and now Kessie has also agreed to join them.
The Catalan side are looking to bolster their squad and have two deals set for the summer. Both players are heading towards the end of their contracts at Chelsea and AC Milan, respectively, and were free to hold talks with other clubs.
Xavi seems to have managed to lure them both to Camp Nou.
Barcelona are not done with free transfers and are working on a couple more. They are battling for Ajax’s defender Noussair Mazraoui with Bayern Munich and are also interested in Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
Reports suggest they are putting their finances together for Erling Haaland. Xavi met with the Borussia Dortmund striker and the Catalan side have not ruled out a move for the striker who has a £63 million release clause this summer.
