Cesar Azpilicueta was not a happy man after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw vs West Ham United. The Spaniard was frustrated that they could not seal the game and dropped points to the London rivals once again this season.

“What matters is the score at the end, I am frustrated today, we should be able to win this game. We controlled the game, we created enough chances to win but we struggled at the end and maybe they could have scored the winner. We are not happy.”

Chelsea lost at the London stadium earlier this season and yesterday, dropped 2 points. They are now 10 points behind Liverpool and Tottenham – who sit in the Champions League places right now.

“To get a draw at home in another London derby is really frustrating for all of us and all of the fans. It’s becoming harder and harder every game it goes on. We are further away than ever.”

Chelsea’s only chance of a silverware this season is the FA Cup. The Blues take on Southampton in the semi-finals on April 22nd but the defender isn’t happy that they are ending the season with just that one trophy to play for.

“The FA Cup is a massive trophy but it’s not enough for us. We will try to win it but the cup will not save our season.”
