AS Roma keeping tabs on Everton star
Italian giants AS Roma are monitoring Moise Kean’s situation at Everton as they look to lure him back to his home country this summer, as per reports from Il Messaggero.
After a brief breakthrough at Juventus, Everton identified Kean’s glittering potential in front of goal and purchased him for €27.5 million in the summer, but the 20-year-old’s time at Goodison Park has been nothing short of distressing, to say the least.
In a total of 26 appearances for the Toffees, the Italy international has netted just once. Of course, life outside the pitch must have been arduous for the youngster, who is away from his relatives and native land.
Therefore, Roma appear to have charted an escape route for the outcast by shortlisting him in their targets list. They have in fact, observed a possible move for him since January.
Carlo Ancelotti however, is surely aware of the youngster’s capabilities and would want to keep him at all costs, especially since he fields two strikers in his starting XI more often than not.
